Our Story
A string of perfect coincidences led us to meet during a paramedic program in January of 2020. Miranda had moved to a new city to start a new job only two weeks prior. Austin, a classmate and a coworker happened to live just three streets away in the same neighborhood. In March of 2020, we continued on with our jobs as EMTs while the rest of the world remained in lockdown. We found ourselves spending our time off together, exploring all of the parks, trails, and waterfalls Michigan has to offer.
One of our very first adventures was a three-hour trip to Rosy Mound natural area, a trail containing more than 400 stairs (each way) over sand dunes - ending at a beautiful beach along Lake Michigan. Three years later, we were in the same spot, overlooking Lake Michigan when Austin proposed.
Our lives have changed so much in the last four years. We are so excited to begin this next chapter surrounded by our friends and family.
